According to official CD Projekt documentation, Sony will allow Cyberpunk 2077 back on the PlayStation Store effective June 21.
When Cyberpunk 2077 launched on December 10 2021, many consumers shared their outrage at the state of the game. While all platforms suffered from poor performance, game-breaking bugs, stability issues, and other glitches, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers reported barely being able to play the game.
Just over a week after its launch, Sony pulled the game from its digital store and issued refunds to consumers. As CD Projekt Red continues to improve the game with patches and hotfixes, it seems as if the game is now at an acceptable quality level for Sony.
Nonetheless, if you intend to play it on a base PlayStation 4, you should probably hold out a little longer. Speaking with website Axios, a PlayStation representative recommends “playing the title on a PS4 Pro or PS5 for the best experience.”
