Dying Light: Hellraid, a piece of DLC, now has DLC. Yes, you read that right.
The official Dying Light Twitter account tweeted the news on June 7:
The Prisoner adds a story mode to the dungeon-diving DLC. The new mode includes three quests which can be played alone or with others. Two new weapons in the form of a bow and a two-handed hammer are now in the game. New locations and a new enemy round out the content additions. On the tech side, it also updates the lighting system and adds more environmental sounds.
Released last year, Dying Light: Hellraid is not the most well-received piece of downloadable content for Techland’s 2015 game. On Steam, it currently has a “Mostly Negative” tag and user reviews lament the DLC’s “copy-pasted” feeling.
Nonetheless, if you’re looking to get your fix while waiting for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, the new content could help pass the time and perhaps reinvigorate an otherwise lacklustre expansion.
