Disney+ Returns To Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members now have another opportunity to enjoy a free trial of Disney+. In a recent Xbox Wire post, Xbox Game Pass’ Marketing Manager, Adam Harris, announced the collaboration between Microsoft and Disney.

“The response from our community was fantastic; we know many of you claimed the Perk to stream all the great entertainment available on Disney+ with your friends and family,” Harris wrote. He also added that, “when the Perk ended in January, we heard you ask for more and today we’re excited to share the good news.”

As of now, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can enjoy a free 30-day trial of Disney+ via the Perks program. The free trial also applies to members who redeemed the first trial back in November 2020. As long as you do not already have an active subscription to Disney’s streaming service, you’re good to go.

Members have until September 30 to claim this perk. You can do so by heading to the Perk Gallery on your Xbox console, the Xbox app for Windows PC, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android.

Once activated, you can start streaming immediately via the Disney+ app on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

However, do keep in mind the the subscription automatically renews after the trial expires. If you don’t want to keep your subscription active after the trial ends, it might be a good idea to set a reminder in your calendar.

In other Game Pass news, Microsoft recently added a new batch of games for the month of June. Most of the announced titles are now live, with the exception of Darkest Dungeon.
