New trailer promises a gruesome good time
Yesterday, publisher Devolver Digital released a brand new trailer for Shadow Warrior 3. As a weapon showcase, the trailer flaunts a portion of Lo Wang’s arsenal and the gruesome ways players will be able to take out enemies.
The trailer also shows how some upgrades can drastically affect weapons. For example, one upgrade allows the Outlaw revolver to fire incendiary rounds. Another upgrade fires bullets that make enemies’ heads explode with a satisfying pop and a volcano of blood and gore.
Speaking of which, the trailer also shows off the game’s fast-paced combat. Not unlike Doom‘s most recent iterations, combat appears to take place in “arenas” filled with various enemy types.
Shadow Warrior 3 is set for release in 2021 and will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
